The dendrological park from College of Forestry is arranged on an area of 1.5 ha. It contains over 150 species of plants, trees and ornamental shrubs. Students who study forestry domain come in this park to recognize species of plants and trees - appearance, leaves, bark, flowers and fructification. It is provided with walkways, benches, chairs, observation towers, flowers of different species. Each fall and spring, the dendrological park provides cuttings and slips for Râmnicu Vâlcea Forestry Department and other parks.
